Warmth of Each Other
by Younghwan Park (박영환)
"A contemplative landscape where layers of memory and reality intersect within a monochromatic space."
About the Artwork
Warmth to Move Forward by Younghwan Park
"A silent resonance where separate worlds meet." unlike the previous work which focused on individual progress, Warmth of Each Other explores the beauty of connection. In this 2024 piece, Younghwan Park uses the spreading nature of ink on Hanji to visualize how boundaries between two entities can soften and merge. The dark, rounded forms seem to lean towards one another, sharing a quiet, mutual temperature. It captures the profound comfort found in simply being together, even in silence.

Why We Love This Collection
🤝 The Aesthetics of Togetherness
This artwork is a visual metaphor for relationship and empathy. The vertical orientation emphasizes support and growth—like two trees standing together. It brings a sense of harmony and deep emotional connection to shared spaces like a dining room or a couple’s bedroom.
🏛️ Vertical Elegance
The tall, slender ratio (approx. 1.5:1) creates a sense of height and dignity. It is perfect for filling narrow wall spaces, such as between windows, on a pillar, or at the end of a hallway, adding a sophisticated vertical accent to the room.
🌫️ Softening Boundaries
Park’s technique shines here; the ink doesn't just sit on the paper, it soaks in and spreads. This "bleeding" effect symbolizes understanding and acceptance, adding a soft, humane touch to the modern monochrome palette.
🏆 Proven Value
Younghwan Park is a talented young artist whose works have been showcased at major art fairs like KIAF and Art Busan. His ability to fuse traditional techniques with modern sentiments makes his work a timeless addition to any collection.
