Younghwan Park

Younghwan Park (b. 1998, Korea)

Younghwan Park is a contemporary Korean artist who explores the structural formation of life through ink and Hanji (traditional Korean paper). A graduate of Busan National University (Korean Painting), he uses the "Sphere" not merely as a geometric form, but as a vessel representing the accumulation of time and the changing phases of existence.

By meticulously layering ink, Park visualizes the strata of time, creating landscapes where internal memories and external realities intersect through architectural elements like windows and frames. His work, which has been showcased at the Jeonnam International Sumuk Biennale and various solo exhibitions, invites viewers to contemplate the fluid, non-linear nature of life within a serene, monochromatic space.
